Walton High School
Walton is representing East Cobb in the 6A top ten at number 10 with a (7-1) record. Their only blemish on the season was a tough 48-14 loss to Roswell who is (7-0) and ranked number 2 in 6A Georgia high school football.
Walton’s offense exploded during a 49-21 Homecoming game victory against Woodstock.
Walton faces off with a tough opponent in Milton high Oct. 23 at 7:30 for the 680 The Fan “Game Of The Week”. Then they finish out the season Nov. 6 at 7:00 week against Cherokee. #raidernation
Lassiter High School
The (4-3) Trojans suffered a hard fought 18-12 Homecoming loss Sept. 18 against Milton. They are trying to rebound tonight as they square off against Cherokee Oct. 23 at 7:30. They can make as strong finish to the season if they can string together victories against cross town rivals over their next two games.
Lassiter plays Pope Oct. 30 for their senior night then finishes their season playing on the road against Wheeler Nov. 6. #trojannation
Pope High School
Pope is enduring a tough football season with a (0-7) record this year. They still have a chance to turn it around and feel good about next season if they can pull out victories against their next three opponents.
Pope will have their Homecoming game tonight Oct. 23 at 7:30 against the Wheeler Wildcats who hold a record of (3-4).
Pope finishes the season with two 7:00 pm kickoffs. They will play Lassiter Oct. 30 and finish out season with a home game against the Milton Eagles. #greyhoundnation
Wheeler High School
The Wheeler Wildcats have had an up and down season, posting a (3-4) record. They nearly upset Walton, only losing by a score of 22-19 on Sept. 18. Number 2 6A Roswell High played Homecoming spoiler by defeating the Wildcats 45-7 on Oct. 10.
Wheeler will fight hard to finish out the last three games of the season as they square off against the struggling Pope Greyhounds tonight Oct. 23 at 7:30. Wheeler finishes the season against the cross-town rivals of Lassiter on Nov. 6 at 7:00. #wildcatnation
Sprayberry High School
They Yellow Jackets are looking strong this season with a (5-3) record however, they had a tough time getting the offense going as they suffered a tough Homecoming game loss at the hands of the Riverwood Raiders by a score of 17-6 on Oct. 2.
Sprayberry has a bye week tonight Oct. 23 and will finish the season against their divisional rival Kell High School on Oct. 30 at 7:30. #togetherweswarm
Kell High School
The Kell Long Horns are having a solid season posting a (5-2) record so far. They started out their unblemished month of October with a 35-6 Homecoming victory against North Springs on Oct. 2. The Longhorns hope to finish the month unbeaten as they face off against the North Atlanta Warriors tonight Oct. 23 at 7:30.
Kell is trying to make a strong regional push as they are (3-1) and hope to defeat Sprayberry on Oct. 30 at 7:30 to make it a (4-1) divisional record.
