A Local Cat Rescue Is Looking For Volunteers

About a week ago we got news of a Cobb County cat rescue that is currently looking for people to volunteer. Purr Nation Cat Alliance is a non-profit rescue operated by a team of professional, hard-working volunteers who are passionate about reducing animal overpopulation and finding homes for domestic animals through rescue and adoption. Their rescue provides both loving homes for pets as well as post-adoption support if needed.

Purr Nation Cat Alliance pulls a lot of cats out of Cobb County Animal Control, which has a time limit on its animals and euthanizes adoptable animals to make room for newcomers. Additionally, they work with Petsmart Merchants Walk to help get cats adopted out to families. Their adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, combo test for FIV/FeLV, set of combo vaccines, rabies vaccine, deworming, up to date flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping.

Right now they are specifically looking for people who are willing to foster the animals; however, any help from volunteers is always appreciated!
