With Spring Break less than a month away and summer just around the corner, we put together a list of a few camps and family activities for your kids to do here in East Cobb:

CAMPS IN AND AROUND EAST COBB

  1. Challenge Island® Camps

Challenge Island American Girls and Dolls Camp® June 19 – June 23– Create an entire world for your American Girl doll, designing homes, furniture and clothes. Register here.

Challenge Island Emoji Camp® June 26 – June 30 – A new camp experience that turns those cute little yellow faces into action packed STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) adventures! Register here.

Challenge Island Super Hero and Super Shero Camp May 30 – June 2 2017 — Channel your extraordinary powers into a universe of challenges from building Bat Caves to creating villain catching machines. Register here.

Camps held at the East Hampton Clubhouse for Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Boy Scout and Girl Scout Patches Awarded.

  1. Basketball Dreams – Excellent instruction in both basketball skill and character. They offer limited summer camps and an after school club at Addison Elementary throughout the school year. More information here.
  2. Hand Hoof and Heart Camp – This camp features two rides a day, plus other outdoor activities for the Special Needs community, ages 6 and older. There is be a 2:1 staff to camper ratio and parents will get to attend a show on the last day of camp. Dates are June 5 – 9 and 26 – 30.   3. Cobb Soccer Academy – Designed for rising 1st-6th graders of all levels and abilities. The camp will focus on having fun while teaching technical skills such as moves, dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting. Camp is at Tritt Elementary, May 30 – June 2 and Mt. Bethel Elementary, June 5 – 8. Register here.
  4. FCA Equestrian Camp – Camp will include horseback riding, trail rides, creek adventures, fishing, daily crafts and a horse show for parents on Friday, July 10th-14th! Email rstroup@fca.orgto register.
